Crossroads of Culture and Christianity
Ep. 106 Is the Soul Immortal? A Critical Look at Annihilationism
On this episode, we are joined by one of our newest professors at Free Gospel Bible Institute, Chris Jordon, to discuss the Annihilationist perspective on eternity. In this episode we address an article written by Greg Boyd. Particularly, we look at his claim that the soul of man is mortal and only receives immortality when it is granted eternal life from God at salvation. Further, we dissect the hermeneutical approach to terms in Scripture that seem to indicate that "eternal" and "forever" do not necessarily need to be taken in a literal sense.
