We continue our discussion of Ephesians 5. In this episode, we capitalize on a perspective of Ephesians 5 that seems contrary to the narrative that is often pushed. Many have argued that Paul was dealing in a patriarchal society, and many of the commands he gave was in regard to that societal mindset. However, is that really the case, or was Paul actually addressing issues that had arisen as the culture began to shift toward an embrace of egalitarianism?
